COACHING EDUCATION
Team Tampa Rowing has partnered with Florida Scholastic Rowing Association to offer several education programs for Florida rowing coaches.
Team Tampa Rowing’s Coaching Mentorship Program (CMP) will provide coaches the training, support, and resources to turn their passion for rowing into a coaching career. Successful CMP applicants will join Team Tampa’s coaching staff and be compensated for time spent both on the water coaching youth athletes as well as participating in seminars, classroom instruction, and ride along practices with mentor coaches.
BONUS: CMP Coaches will receive a FREE Membership with Tampa Athletic Club so they can continue to row on the water while starting their coaching career. Additional income and coaching hours are available through Tampa Athletic Club's Learn To Row clinics and masters practices.
Florida Scholastic Rowing Association has put together the 2023-2024 Rowing Speaker Series to help new coaches grow and offer experienced coaches continuing education.

Rowing coaches from around Florida, virtually meeting to discuss topics and share ideas and experience.
Open to all coaches, these sessions are less structured than the speaker series, allowing for plenty of interaction and freedom to ask questions of your peers around the state.
Florida has been a beloved destination for colleges looking for Winter and Spring training locations.
