National Learn to Row Day
The City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department, CANDO’s Team Tampa Rowing, and the Tampa Athletic Club annually host USRowing National Learn to Row Day on the first Saturday in June.
Come out and give rowing a try! This free event introduces participants to rowing on the water in a fun, welcoming environment. Middle school students, high school students, and adults of all ages, shapes, and sizes are encouraged to attend. Participants must be at least 10 years old.

You can choose from one of four available times-
7am - 9am

Requirements:

No rowing experience is necessary!

Must be 10 years or older

Must be able to perform a full squat and lift 35lbs overhead

Must complete required waivers which will be provide at check-in​​

Details:

Come out and give rowing a try! This is a FREE event and will introduce you to rowing on the water. Middle school, high school students and adults of all ages, shapes, and sizes are encouraged to attend (minimum age of 10 years old).
Each session is 2 hours and will include technical instruction on land and on the water.

> ROW ON THE WATER! - 60min
> Recap and Boathouse Tour - 25min
Local youth and adult rowing programs will be on site to help you learn more about rowing opportunities throughout the Tampa Bay area.
