Practice Location & Parking
All Team Tampa Rowing practices are held at the Bob Buckhorn River Center in Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park.

Team Tampa Rowing practices on the lower level of the River Center.
When you arrive, walk to the second boat bay from the left, where our athletes and coaches meet before every practice.
Parking & Drop-Off
There are two parking lots that serve the River Center.
South Parking Lot (Recommended)
1001 N. Boulevard
Tampa, FL 33606
The South Lot is our recommended parking area for both athletes and parents.
We recommend using this lot because:

It has the most reliable parking availability.

It remains open even when events are taking place at the River Center.

It provides easy access to the boathouse with a short walk through the park.

If you're attending practice for the first time, this is the best place to park.
North Parking Lot (Drop-Off & Limited Parking)
The North Lot is located directly above the boathouse and is accessed from W. Laurel Street.
This lot is convenient for:

Quick athlete drop-off

Limited short-term parking
Please note that this lot is frequently closed during weddings, private events, and City of Tampa functions at the River Center.
If the North Lot is closed, simply use the South Lot instead.
North Lot Closure Calendar
The Bob Buckhorn River Center is a popular event venue. During scheduled events, the North Parking Lot may be closed.
Please review the calendar below before arriving for practice.
If the North Lot is closed, simply park in the South Lot. It is our recommended parking area and remains the best option for most practices.
For larger park events that require the use of the overflow lot, an email with parking instructions will be sent out based on street closures and event times.

Vehicles parked improperly may be ticketed or towed by the City.
