City of Tampa Parks & Recreation and CANDO have partnered to offer Youth Rowing to all Middle School and High School students in Tampa! Come join us at the Julian B Lane Riverfront Park Tampa River Center!

In Fall 2018, the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation department partnered with Children's Athletic Network & Dance Opportunities, Inc (CANDO) to offer a rowing program for Blake High School. Blake High Rowing exposed over 40 students to the sport in our first year and sent 18 students to the 2019 Florida State Rowing Championship in Sarasota.

In 2019 Blake High Rowing transitioned to Team Tampa Rowing club to accommodate more high school and middle school athletes from the greater Tampa Bay community. This expansion introduced rowing to upwards of 140 new athletes and culminated in 18 unique entries at the 2021 Florida State Rowing Championship; allowing 40 athletes to compete at youth rowing's highest level.  CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION DETAILS.
